By filling out the form and/or paying your deposit you agree to hire Core Entertainment and contractually agree to the following terms:​​​​​​​​​​​​

The contract is between you (the hirer) and Core Entertainment (the entertainment provider).
1) The Band will provide a full PA system and the musical equipment required. Stage lighting will also be provided. Please note that the lighting is only for the stage and not for the full venue or dance floor. The Band equipment is strictly not for use by guests unless previously agreed. Guests are not permitted to enter the stage area at any point. Guests must not place drinks on stage or on top of speakers or other band equipment.
2) A non refundable deposit is required within 7 days of the hirer's agreement to this contract. Failure to pay the deposit does not constitute a cancellation but may result in the date being made available to other clients. In the unlikely event there is an error with the booking or the booking is unable to be executed due to Force Majeure or frustration we endeavor to refund the deposit and any other payments made to Brassienda.
3) The remaining balance is to be paid by bank transfer no later than 14 days before the event.  
4)

(a) Once the deposit has been paid and/or the booking form has been filled out and electronically submitted, the hirer commits to booking the band and a contract is formed. In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, the band will endeavor to find another gig for the same night to the same value. If a suitable replacement gig cannot be found in time then the hirer is liable to pay the full fee as agreed. Any cancellations must be given in writing no later than 28 days before the event date. 
(b) If the hirer requires to postpone their event the band will make every effort to accommodate this. The new date must be agreed by mutual consent of both parties. Date changes must be requested in writing by the hirer and fall within 12 months of the original booking date.  Any deposits paid can be used against a new date if successfully postponed. The band cannot make mid summer Saturdays or other high demand dates available for postponements. Weekdays, and some weekends in off peak times can be considered. If the event is moved to an unsuitable date for the band or is moved without the band's prior agreement this constitutes a cancellation by the hirer and the normal cancellation terms apply.

(a) All verbal agreements and details logged in emails, texts and messages on facebook and whatsapp are confirmed by the electronic signing of this written contract and or payment of deposit. Failure to sign contracts does not constitute cancellation. All verbal agreements and those detailed in emails, texts and facebook messages will remain in force.

(b) The hirer is not required to sign a new agreement if an amendment has been agreed in writing using email or messages. Emails and messages stand as supportive evidence of the amendment. 
6) The hirer agrees to provide a suitable and safe performance area for the band. The hirer must provide an electrical supply meeting or exceeding British standards and a minimum of two separate 13amp sockets on or near the stage area. For outdoor events suitable dry cover must be provided. If there is any chance that stage is likely to be rained on, in direct sunlight, in high winds, waterlogged, uneven, unsteady or unsafe to perform, the band reserves the right to refuse to set up. This will be deemed a cancellation by the hirer. 
7) The hirer agrees to allow the band a setup and soundcheck time of 90 minutes.

8) The Bands PLI (public liability insurance) has a limit of £10,000,000. A copy of the PLI certificate can be provided to any venue that requires it.

9) The band relies almost entirely on word of mouth promotion. The hirer agrees to allow the band to display their promotional material including business cards and band logos on or around the stage area for the duration of the time the band equipment is set up.

10) On occasion it may be necessary for the band to use alternative musicians (deps). This is a back up if any musician falls ill, is injured, or is for reasons of force majeure unable to attend. All of our deps are fully trained members and there will be no reduction to the fee should a dep be used. Use of a dep or deps by the band does not constitute any grounds for a cancellation by the hirer. The hirer agrees that Brassienda use multiple members and lineups.

11) The artist will only provide entertainment at the show times specified on your booking form. Extra late finishes should be agreed at the time of booking and may incur charges. We are happy to include free party music before the show and keep music playing for 30 mins afterwards during pack down. Unless otherwise agreed, a fee of £300 per hour is chargeable on the night if you require the band to stay on site and act as DJ. Please be aware that the band has the right to refuse this service on the night.

12) The hirer is entirely responsible for any damage sustained to our equipment by the hirer or any of the hirers guests during the event. This includes guests under the influence of alcohol falling into the stage, spilling drinks over the equipment or grabbing hold of instruments and/or microphones. You will be invoiced for any servicing repair or replacement of damaged band equipment.

13) The hirer agrees that the band requires a permitted volume level at least 85db. The band cannot operate at a level below this. If after a booking is made the band discovers that a noise limiter device is used at the venue with a limit below 85 db then this constitutes a cancellation by the hirer and the normal cancellation terms/fees will apply.

14) The hirer agrees to pay the transport costs of the band over and above the agreed fee for the show. Transport costs are charged at 0.65p/mile from Lytham Saint Annes after the first 30 miles.

15) If the distance of the venue is more than 150 miles away from Lytham Saint Annes then the hirer agrees to provide the band with suitable accommodation after the show in the local area. The band are happy to share rooms and consider low cost alternatives to hotels such as sites like Air B&B . In extreme circumstances the band may be willing to find other solutions as long as they do not run the risk of being too fatigued to play the following day.

16) The hirer agrees to provide adequate and substantial meals with (non-alcoholic) drinks for the band. For evening events a full meal must be provided after the soundcheck (no later than 7:30pm). For full day events with daytime and evening performances two meals must be provided - one after the first performance (usually around 3pm), the second  no later than 7:30pm.

17) Any amendments to this contract must be made in writing, at least 30 days prior to the event date. It is the responsibility of the hirer to make sure the event runs as planned and on time, Under no circumstances will the band play beyond the agreed set times or shorten their setup and soundcheck time of 90 minutes if your event runs over. A late start does not constitute grounds for a late finish or a cancellation. The agreement is strictly between the agreed hours.

4. Prize Conditions
 • Prize is valid for one UK-based event or wedding, subject to Brassienda’s availability.

1. The Offer

Customers who book the Brassienda Elite Package during the Black Friday promotional period will receive a complimentary acoustic singer for their wedding ceremony (normally worth £1,000), subject to availability.

2. Booking Deadline

To qualify for the offer, the Elite Package must be booked by 11:59pm on 1st December. A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking.

• Offer is valid for UK-based weddings only, subject to Brassienda’s availability.
